Decluttering the Stuff for a Decluttered Life in Retirement

2015 – A Crazy Year

This was one of the few years we didn’t really go anywhere. The following all happened within 5 weeks: the house flooding, Dad passing, and Kiddo #1’s wedding. We really didn’t feel like leaving while the house was being worked on. We did get a nice long weekend away for Kiddo #1’s wedding.

Decluttering Frenzy!
Most of 2015 was spent decluttering. The flood sure helped with that. Search 2015 in 2015 and other related categories about our decluttering adventures.

Dad passes
John’s dad passed away in June just a week before Kiddo #1’s wedding. She saw him a few days earlier and he portrayed confidence he would be there – just waiting for the doctors to give him the right meds! There was a lovely memorial service and his ashes are at the local National Cemetery.
