Decluttering the Stuff for a Decluttered Life in Retirement

John’s Junk Jar

Here’s the pic of the Junk Jar Melinda over at PurpleSlob In Recovery asked about.  It holds the odds and ends from John’s pockets until it fills and he cleans it out.  I don’t even ask about the stuff in it anymore!

I’ve just started -my- decluttering (which admittedly comes and goes in waves) and I must admit it gives a zen-like sense of fulfillment
    Congratulations on your journey!

Angie has a junk box. Occasionally I look inside but then I quickly close the lid. I do know that she also has a tiny battery and a marble in there! Hmm….

I have the amusing memory of my mum emptying my dad’s pockets before doing the laundry; she said they were like those of children… the weird things they’d picked up and collected throughout the day/week.
