It’s Nice to be Home!

We are home!  It was so nice unpacking the RV this year.  Everything was put away within one day – including all the laundry.  Having less stuff around the house sure did make it easier!  We packed just the amount of clothing we needed.  This year we made a concerted effort to minimize the amount we packed.  We even minimized the extra food items since our cupboards run closer to bare these days.

John goes back to work tomorrow and Barb leaves today for a conference.  So sad to be returning to “normal”.

Only 11 items officially left the RV.  In the couple of days we’ve been home, we’ve removed about a dozen items.  The donation box is filling up and needs to be counted!

Here’s a map of our travels this year.  Not sure how many miles we traveled but the 7 weeks flew by.

    Congrats on the 11 “official” items!!
    SAd you have to return to “real” life. 😦

      Thanks! I’m not sure how those in Florida survive the heat and humidity. It seemed brutal this year.

          That was me! We stayed at Pensacola Beach. John was stationed 40 years ago there (he was very traumatized by that realization!) and was always resistant to returning to FL. He opened the RV door, closed it without having gotten out, said “now I remember why I didn’t want to return to Florida.”, opened the door and got out. It was so unlike him. He never complains about the heat or humidity!

          Lol!! My first husband and I were at Corry. I guess I just never learned any better, this has always been home!
